The Heart Cells Foundation was founded by the late Ian Rosenberg, who after receiving beneficial results from stem cell treatment for his heart condition, decided to set up the Heart Cells Foundation to raise money to fund ground-breaking cardiac stem cell trials at Barts and London NHS Trust. The foundation has since become the world leader in pioneering stem cell therapy. At this years annual Heart Cells fund raising evening Benjamin presented Jennifer Rosenberg and the Heart Cells Foundation with this Tulle Portrait of Ian Rosenberg. 15 Metres of Fame Auctioned

The MTV redefine exhibition came to spectacular finale this evening as the 30 artworks were sold at auction to raise funds for the Staying Alive Aids Foundation hosted by Phillips de Pury at the Goss Michael Gallery. '15 Metres of Fame' achieved one of the highest selling prices of the evening, raising $28,000 for the foundation.

 

 

 

MTV Re:Define Exhibition

Commissioned for the MTV Re:Define exhibition, this reinterpretation of Warhol's self-portrait is constructed from 15 metres of pleated pink tulle on a dyed yellow canvas. Selected as part of the 30 international artist involved, including Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin and Shepard Fairey, the piece will be auctioned at the Goss-Michael Gallery, Dallas, Texas on September 24th with all raised proceeds going to the Staying Alive Aids Foundation. Flying High at Barclays Wealth

Commissioned by Barclays Wealth, the corporate emblem is redesigned as a twinkling brooch for this beautiful historic building in Monaco. Utilising the sunlight, which streams in from the opposing French windows, the angled coins create an intriguing effect whereby currency symbols emerge, disappear and light up - as if playing off each other as the viewer walks around it.

Royal Mail - Upcycled Storm Jacket

Doodleez - Thomas the Tank Engine

Elephant Parade raises over £4M

The elephants have packed their trunks and now have new homes! Following the great success organised by Elephant Parade, Elephant Family and the artists involved, over £4M was raised from the Sotheby's Auction at the Royal Chelsea Hospital in London. Elephant Chic raised £20,250 and Taxi Elephant raised a jumbo £40,000. Above, The Duchess of Cornwall and organiser Mark Shand say goodbye to the Taxi Elephant.

Enlisted by Worn Again to design the new Train Manager's Bag for Eurostar - the bag is manufactured from Eurostar's waste textiles, from uniforms to train seating. The product is currently exhibited at the Sustainable Futures exhibition at the Design Museum until September.
